Conversion Analytics
Understand how visitors move through your ordering funnel — from landing to menu, cart, checkout, and completed order. Identify exactly where customers drop off so you can optimise each stage.
The conversion funnel
Each analytics session tracks five milestones with timestamps. The funnel chart shows the count and drop-off percentage at each stage:
- Landed — Visitor arrived at your storefront. This is the total session count.
- Menu Visited — Visitor navigated to the menu page. Drop-off here suggests your landing page isn't compelling enough.
- Cart Created — At least one item was added to cart. Drop-off here means visitors browse but don't find what they want, or prices are too high.
- Checkout Started — Visitor began the checkout flow. Drop-off here often indicates friction in the pre-checkout step (phone verification, login).
- Order Completed — Payment was successful and order placed. Drop-off here may indicate payment issues or unexpected fees at checkout.

Session tracking
Sessions are tracked via anonymous visitor IDs stored in the browser. Each session records:
- Timestamps for each funnel milestone.
- Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop).
- Referrer URL.
- Visit number (first visit, second visit, etc.).
- User agent for browser/OS breakdown.
UTM tracking
Sessions automatically capture UTM parameters from the URL:
utm_source— Which platform sent the traffic (e.g. google, instagram, flyer).utm_medium— The marketing medium (e.g. cpc, social, email).utm_campaign— The specific campaign name, which links to your campaign analytics.
Use these to measure which marketing channels drive the most orders and have the highest conversion rates.
Tip: If you see a large drop-off between "Cart Created" and "Checkout Started", consider simplifying your pre-checkout flow or enabling guest checkout.
