Customer Tags

Tags let you label and segment customers for targeted marketing campaigns and audience analysis.

    How tags work

Tags are free-form labels (e.g. "VIP", "Catering", "Lunch Regular", "Corporate") that you can assign to customer profiles. They're used in two key ways:

    • Campaign targeting — When creating a campaign, filter recipients by one or more tags using AND/OR logic.
    • CRM filtering — Filter the customer list by tags to view specific segments.

    Managing tags

    1. Go to Customers → Tags in the admin sidebar.
    2. Create new tags with a name.
    3. Assign tags to customers from the CRM page — individually or in bulk.
    4. Edit or delete tags as your segmentation needs evolve.

    Tag strategy suggestions

    • Behaviour-based — "Lunch Regular", "Weekend Only", "High Spender".
    • Source-based — "Instagram", "Google Ads", "Walk-in Converted".
    • Preference-based — "Vegetarian", "Halal", "Spicy Lover".
    • Loyalty-based — "VIP", "At-risk", "Win-back Target".
Tip: Keep tag names short and consistent. Avoid duplicates like "VIP" and "vip" — tags are case-sensitive.
