Rewards Program

Incentivise repeat orders with a points-based loyalty program. Customers earn points on every order and redeem them for discounts.

    Configuration

Configure your rewards program in Settings → Rewards:

    • Enable/disable — Toggle the entire rewards program on or off.
    • Earn rate — Points earned per dollar spent (e.g. 10 points per $1).
    • Redemption value — Dollar value per point when redeemed (e.g. 1 point = $0.01).
    • Minimum redemption — Minimum points required before redemption is allowed (e.g. 500 points).

    How points are earned

Points are automatically earned when an order is completed. The points are calculated based on the order total (after discounts) multiplied by the earn rate. Points are recorded on the order and added to the customer's profile balance.

    How points are redeemed

At checkout, if a customer has enough points (above the minimum threshold), a "Redeem points" option appears. They can choose how many points to redeem, which is converted to a dollar discount applied to the order. Redeemed points are subtracted from their balance.

    Customer experience

    • Account page — Customers see their current points balance and earn history.
    • Checkout — Points redemption option with a slider or input to choose the amount.
    • Order confirmation — Shows points earned on this order.

    Dashboard tracking

When the rewards program is enabled, the Overview dashboard shows a Rewards Overview card with total points earned and redeemed in the selected period — helping you gauge program engagement.

Tip: A generous earn rate (e.g. 10 points per $1) with a higher redemption threshold (e.g. 500 points = $5 off) creates the perception of fast accumulation while maintaining profitability. Customers feel rewarded quickly even though the actual discount percentage is modest.
