Checkout Privacy

To protect customer data, the checkout pre-fill behaviour depends on whether the person has ordered with you before.

How pre-fill works

• Returning customers — Once a phone number is verified at the OTP step and matches a profile with past orders, their saved name, email and default address are pre-filled.
• First-time customers — No pre-fill. The customer enters their details from scratch even if a profile happens to exist from a manual entry.
• Authenticated accounts — Always pre-filled, since the session itself proves identity.

This gating prevents an attacker who guesses a phone number from harvesting the owner's saved address or email.
